Huemann Water Conditioning’s roots go back to 1902 with Joseph H. Huemann and Sons Well Drilling in Ringwood, Illinois.  In 1964, Tom Huemann say a need for water treatment and decided to part ways from the family business. As a result, Huemann Water Conditioning was formed as a family-owned and operated water treatment company.  Keeping the family business within the family, Joe Huemann became President in 1995 and today proudly manages his family business with his son, Mike.

Our philosophy is to meet with the customer at their home or business, test their water, audit the plumbing, and recommend a course of action.  We will recommend installing water softeners, reverse osmosis drinking water systems, and specialty equipment for heavy iron and sulfur.  We service everything we sell, as well as competitive equipment.  Our service philosophy is to repair your water softener before replacing any existing equipment.  In addition, we offer a convenient residential and commercial salt delivery service.  Choose between our fill-n-stack or drop-off delivery.  On the first Saturday of the month, visit our Salt Sale Saturday for discounted pricing on water softener salt.  We are members of the Water Quality Association, where many employees are certified water specialists and installers.  We have licensed plumbers in the states of Illinois and Wisconsin.  In addition, all our installation techs are certified plumbers or plumber apprentices.
