The Kinetico Kinex Salt Monitor automatically monitors your salt tank, using laser technology, so you don’t have to.  The device sits on top of your salt tank lid, held tightly by four screws.  It uses 4-AA batteries, but is compatible using a mini-USB cable or lithium-ion batteries.  The Kinex Salt Monitor is compatible with any Kinetico salt tank or competitive system.

When you download the Kinetico app and register your device, using WiFi technology, you can check your salt tank’s status wherever, whenever.  The monitor will send you a text or email notification your salt level is low.  Notifications are tailored to when and how you want to be alerted.  So even when your AA batteries run low, you’re notified.  You can even add other members of your household to receive alerts too.

The Kinetico app will allow you to monitor salt usage history, days until your salt will be exhausted, and the last time you filled your salt tank.  When you run low on salt, you can order more salt through the Kinetico app or even request a service call if you feel you’re not using any salt.
